LemonAid

LemonAid was born out of a desire to see targeted support, investment and relief delivered to the desperately poor people of La Gonave , Haiti as the result of a visit to the island in January 2007.

During the trip, some words of a great friend came to mind -

1. "I was hungry and you fed me. I was thirsty and you gave me a drink. I was homeless and you gave me a room. I was shivering and you gave me clothes. I was sick and you stopped to visit. I was in prison and you came to me."

...and so in 2008, LemonAid was born.

Lemon Aid is still involved in La Gonave , and Take Heart is proud to partner with them in their amazing work on the island.
